Sports massage in Kenninghall

My therapy room is conveniently situated near to the three towns of Diss, Attleborough and Thetford.

From my Kenninghall therapy room I offer sports massage which is specialised form of treatment designed to help athletes and active individuals recover from injuries and improve their performance. I use a variety of techniques to target specific areas of the body that are affected by sports or physical activity. These techniques include deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and stretching, which can help to release muscle tension, improve range of motion, and increase circulation.

Sports massage therapy is not just for athletes. It can be beneficial for anyone who engages in regular physical activity for work or leisure, such as construction, farming and other forms of manually intensive job. It can also help to reduce pain and soreness for those who find activity difficult or have a more sedantry career such as office work.

As well as sports massage I provide a number of other massage services including swedish, hot stone and pregnancy therapy sessions working from my conveniently situated Kenninghall based therapy room. I work closely with each client to understand their specific needs and goals, tailoring the massage to meet those needs. I will also provide exercises and stretches that can be done at home to help maintain the benefits of the massage over a longer period.

What to expect from your massage

When receiving a massage, you can expect to be asked about your medical history, any current injuries or conditions, and your specific goals for the massage.

During the massage, a variety of techniques will be used to manipulate the muscles and soft tissues of the body. The pressure can be light or deep, depending on your preferences and the purpose of the massage.

You may feel some discomfort or pain during the massage, but I will adjust the pressure accordingly. It's important to communicate with me if you are uncomfortable or in pain.

After the massage, you may feel relaxed, rejuvenated, and have less pain and tension. I will provide you with some aftercare instructions such as drinking water and avoiding certain activities for a certain period of time.

It is important to remember that massage therapy is not a one-size-fits-all approach, so what one person experiences during a massage may be different from another person's experience.
