For the maximum benefit from your treatment:

  • Drink plenty of water - you need to rehydrate.
  • Try to avoid alcohol and caffeinated drinks for the rest of the day as these can leave you less hydrated.
  • Rest as much as you can - your muscles have been worked and they need time to recover.
  • Stay warm - you may feel a little chilly.
  • Eat a light diet for the rest of the day.
  • Remember, a little muscular soreness and some feelings of fatigue are not unusual over the next day or two.
  • If I have suggested exercises for you, remember to do them.
