About

I’m Hannah Tabram, a freelance writer, proofreader, web designer and SEO consultant.

I began my career in the NHS and the civil service, then branched out into the charity sector, where I spent nearly a decade working for an international animal welfare organisation. While there, I had the chance to work on projects both large and small. From designing microsites for campaigns and fun activities for supporters, to writing international reports, I did a bit of everything! Whatever I’ve done, communication has always been at the centre – getting ideas and concepts over as clearly as possible.

Eventually I took the plunge into freelancing to work around my family, and have been working for local businesses both large and small ever since. A few of the jobs I’ve done so far:

  • Proofreading company brochures;
  • Editing and redrafting product descriptions;
  • Designing and building the Swanton Swimmers website;
  • Producing an in-house style guide for a local business – making sure all of their printed and online materials were consistent.

From blogposts to content pages, press releases to major reports, I can help you to get your message out into the world. I can also design and build WordPress sites and even help you with your organisation’s social media profiles. So if you’re struggling to find the right words for the job, get in touch to find out how I can help.
